Seventeen Weeks!

Holy cow! Baby Yoshi is seventeen weeks old!!!!!!  Wait until you see what happened this week...

The Yosh went to see Santa.  He didn't cry.  However, he tried to rip Santa's beard off.  Aunt Laura has a picture of this.  As soon as we get our hands on it, we will put it here.

Peyton started playing the piano.  This baby is advanced.

Baby Yosh and Mom had a fun time together every day!

They took lots of walks.  Peyton enjoyed wearing mittens one day and then seeing Legion Keener for the first time on another!

They also went to a family friend's birthday dinner...and there was a stuffed bear in the restaurant.  The Yosh was impressed.

Baby Yoshi also enjoyed spending time with Dad.  And sleeping on him...

BIG NEWS ALERT!
Peyton started using his Bumbo seat!!!!!!!  Enjoy the following Bumbo picture collage.

SECOND BIG NEWS ALERT!!
Peyton rolled over today (He rolled one time about 2 months ago...but that was an accident.  This time it was on purpose.  We think...)!!!
Mom was lame and wasn't recording...so this is Peyton on his back after rolling from his stomach.  Holla!

THIRD BIG NEWS ALERT!!!
Baby Yoshi continues to enjoy wearing bear suits.

That's all for now.  We will leave you with these two awesome videos.  One is Baby Yoshi laughing.  The other is him squealing at his monkey rattle in the Bumbo seat.  Both clips are equally amazing.

Sixteen Weeks!

Baby Yoshi is sixteen weeks old today!

As The Yosh's parents, we think that everything he does is amazing.  But, this week, one of his most awesome accomplishments is his expanded 'vocabulary'.  He talks a lot and seems to have discovered that he can make the mmmmm sound.  Check out the video of our little chatterbox below.

This week, The Yosh got to meet some new relatives...
His first twin experience:  Which one is Grandpa and which one is Uncle Paul????

Aunt Clair!

The Yosh went to TeaRose Photography to get his 3 month pictures.  He did great!  Check out his pictures on their website.  www.tearosephotography.com/
Here is a shot of the photo shoot in action!

Later in the week, we spent a lot of time taking our own picture for our Christmas card.  This was the favorite card fail.

We also spent a lot of time just making Peyton wear holiday headgear.

Also this week, The Yosh hung out with Mom and Dad...

At Longhorn Steakhouse.

At Grandma and Grandpa's.

During nap time.

And in the garage.  :)

Is was also Dad's birthday, and Baby Yoshi enjoyed helping him blow out the candle's on his cake.

During his recreational time, Peyton had fun reading books.  He especially liked this black and white one.

He also still loves that jingle zebra and his monkey mat!  We tried sitting up (with Mom's help) to play with the monkey mat toys!  It was the best ever!

Baby Yoshi continues to enjoy naps in his swing and chilling in his farm chair at Grandma's.
Who wouldn't???

Thanks for checking in on The Yosh Ma Tosh.  Until next time...keep warm!

Fifteen Weeks!

Baby Yosh is 15 weeks old today!  Holy cow!  He is getting so strong... When we lean him against something to sit, he tries to lean forward and sit up himself!  Wow!

This week in Yosh-land...

Baby Yoshi gave Buddy the dog a pat. And also tried to eat his fur.

Peyton wore his fancy bow-tie suit to Aunt Laura's book signing.  Yay EatPGH!

The Yosh received his Romney shirt in the mail.  Sadly, his support efforts were too little, too late.

Peyton wore his turtle shoes to Aunt Nicole's baby shower.  The Yosh was a hit amongst the ladies there.  All the attention tired him out and he fell asleep during present opening time!

In other news:

Still loving his jingle zebra...

And swaddling...

And his cool dude sunglasses...

And tummy time for about 90 seconds until he gets mad.

The Yosh sat unassisted on his softee lion without rolling off the side!  Hooray!  He didn't seem so sure about this situation, however.

Spent some time in the cold, so Peyton wore his bear suit. Sweet.

We went through the car wash for the first time and emerged sans tears.

Baby Yoshi still likes to play (AKA chew on) his blue elephant and his rainbow giraffe.

The Yosh has been sleeping for long stretches each night!  AND...has been going to bed earlier so Mom and Dad have some free time in the evening.

When Baby Yoshi was not busy doing all of the fun stuff above...he liked to dress like his daddy.  Twins!

He also enjoyed walking at Twin Lakes.

Baby Yoshi sure is a busy guy!  And did we mention strong?
He's like the incredible hulk...  Only way more awesome.
Until next time...enjoy this picture of him tearing his monkey jungle gym apart.
