Yesterday we took Peyton home!!!!  We (mom and dad) are not sleeping very much, but all of us are having a great time!

Taking a snooze...it's been a rough couple of days.

Year of the Dragon

Rebecca and I were scheduled to come to the hospital yesterday morning at 7:00 am.  Minutes before we were going to walk out the door we received a call from the hospital telling us that they were slammed packed with other patients who were also having babies at the same time and they wanted to push our induction for the following day at 11 am.  Needless to say we both were extremely disappointed because we both had prepared ourselves for a baby.  
Then...we got ANOTHER call at 7:45 am to tell us to be there by 8:30!  We checked in.  Rebecca started pitocin at 10 and by 5:22 pm Baby Yoshi was here!  The Yosh took his time getting here, but made a really quick entrance!  
He is 7 pounds, 11 ounces and 21 inches long...and obviously very cute.  We will be posting more pictures for your viewing pleasure!  Check back soon!

It's Time

It is six days after Baby Yoshi's due date and he still is a no show.  The doctors have decided that we are to come into the hospital tomorrow morning at 7am for a full induction.  So, unless he decides to take a really long time, sometime tomorrow there will be a baby...A BABY YOSHI!!!

Half Marathon!

Baby Yoshi is being bad and won't come out!  I literally walked over 13 miles today.  13 miles!  I know because my sister walked with me using her 'map my run' app on her iphone.  If he decides to stay for awhile, then it's back to the doctor on Monday!

And so it begins...

Due Date

Tomorrow morning is Baby Yoshi's due date.  We are scheduled to go into the hospital at 5 am to start part of the induction process... It might take a few days before the Yosh arrives, but  we wanted to take a couple last pictures of the two of us together before becoming official parents just in case.  We also measured the 40 week belly and it happens to be 40 inches around!  Yikes!  :)  Time to come out Baby Yoshi!
